The contract for the 'Jet Training Aircraft and Fighter Aircraft Conceptual Design Project' was signed at TUSAŞ facilities on August 23, 2011.
The first prototype of the T129 helicopter, produced by TUSAŞ, successfully completed its maiden flight on August 17, 2011.
