ASELSAN, which has identified unmanned systems as one of its main areas of activity, managed to be among the top 10 teams worldwide in the international Unmanned Vehicles Competition MAGIC-2010 and won a $50,000 prize.
According to information obtained by an AA correspondent from ASELSAN officials, a team was formed under the leadership of ASELSAN for the competition jointly organized by the Australian and US Departments of Defense. The team, named "Cappadocia," included students from Bilkent, Boğaziçi, and Middle East Technical Universities in Turkey, as well as Ohio State University in the United States.
