CN 235-100 TK01 Full Flight Simulator

HAVELSAN is producing a domestically manufactured Full Flight Simulator for CN-235 aircraft. The system, which provides pilots with radar and emergency training, is entirely domestically designed and manufactured.

HAVELSAN, a software and simulation giant in the Turkish defense industry, continues to produce solutions that end dependence on foreign sources in military aviation training. The domestically developed "Full Flight Simulator" for the CN-235 aircraft, which shoulder the logistical burden of the Turkish Air Force and Coast Guard, offers pilots a realistic operational experience with zero risk.

In aviation, training the pilots who will operate the aircraft is just as strategically important as manufacturing them. Acting on this vision, HAVELSAN, with its simulator system developed for CN-235 aircraft, reduces training costs while maximizing operational readiness.

The most remarkable aspect of the system is that, beyond being an import substitution, it is entirely a product of Turkish engineering. HAVELSAN carries out all processes in-house, from the mechanical design of the simulator to the complex flight algorithms, from the software architecture to the hardware integration.

Developed entirely with domestic resources, including testing phases, this system accurately simulates the cockpit and flight dynamics of the CN-235 aircraft.

Radar and "Emergency" Training Plays a Critical Role

Scenarios that pose a vital risk if tested on a real aircraft are safely implemented in HAVELSAN's simulator. The system provides pilots with the following skills:

  • Realistic Environment Experience: Different weather conditions, day-night cycles, and geographical features are recreated in the virtual environment in a realistic way.
  • Air Radar Training: Pilots learn to effectively use air radar, which is critical during missions, as well as target detection and tracking, in this simulator.
  • Crisis Management: Emergency scenarios, such as engine failure, hydraulic loss, or fire, are repeated until they are ingrained in the pilots' muscle memory.

With this project, HAVELSAN once again demonstrates Türkiye's global competence in simulator technology and ensures that pilots take to the skies in the best possible condition.
