The T129 helicopters are being produced as part of the ATAK Program, with TUSAŞ as the main contractor. The Integrated Training System Project, which is vital for preparing ATAK pilots for combat readiness, will also be carried out under the main contractorship of TUSAŞ.

The Integrated Training System, which includes helicopter simulators, has reached the contract stage. The goal is to complete the system in a record time of two years. This will allow pilot training to be provided more cost-effectively once the T129 helicopters enter the inventory.

Since the beginning of the work, which has been ongoing since mid-2011, the unanimous decision of all relevant institutions and organizations to designate TUSAŞ as the Main Contractor has made it possible for certain critical information generated solely by TUSAŞ to be used directly in the simulators within the ATAK Program. This provides a significant advantage in terms of protecting the confidentiality of critical information. This information can be seamlessly updated by TUSAŞ as experience gains from helicopter flight hours increases. This will ensure that there is no noticeable difference between the simulator and the real helicopter. In the past, such information for simulators was either obtained from foreign design firms at high costs, or created with limited accuracy with the help of foreign firms and could not be updated again.
