Türkiye's leading technology brand, General Mobile, has officially announced two new models set to change the balance in the Turkish smartphone market. With the long-awaited launch, the GM Fenix II Pro 5G and GM 26 Pro 5G models have been presented to technology enthusiasts. At the heart of the new series is the GM AI artificial intelligence technology, launched under the motto "Intelligence that understands you." Blending superior hardware features with artificial intelligence, General Mobile appeals to both performance seekers and those wanting innovative design.

The devices come out of the box with the Android 15 operating system and also draw attention with launch-specific buy-back and trade-in support. Here are all the details, technical specifications, and prices of General Mobile's new stars...

A New Definition of Power: GM Fenix II Pro 5G

General Mobile's new flagship positioned in the upper segment, the GM Fenix II Pro 5G, draws attention with its boundary-pushing technical specifications. At the heart of the device lies the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, developed with 4nm manufacturing technology. Cortex-A715 cores reaching speeds of 3.35 GHz and the Arm Mali-G615 MC6 graphics unit promise high performance even in the most demanding games and multitasking scenarios.

Display and Design

The Fenix II Pro 5G comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. This panel, offering 1220x2712 pixel resolution and 446 PPI pixel density, provides a smooth experience with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the display's most striking feature is its 2400 nits maximum brightness, ensuring clear visibility even under sunlight. Protected by Gorilla Glass 5, the screen delivers an almost bezel-less experience with an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 93.50%.

Camera Capabilities

Ambitious in photography, the model features a 50MP main camera with a Sony sensor. The biggest advantage of this camera is its inclusion of OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and EIS support to prevent shakiness. The main camera, with an f/1.88 aperture, promises sharp results even in low light. Additionally, the device has a secondary 8MP rear camera. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera, delighting content creators. This front camera challenges competitors with its ability to record 4K 60 FPS video.

Memory and Battery

The device eliminates storage concerns with 512GB of internal storage, while its RAM capacity reaching up to 24GB (12GB physical + 12GB virtual) allows dozens of applications to run smoothly in the background. Equipped with a 5000 mAh battery capacity, the Fenix II Pro provides all-day energy in a short time thanks to 66W fast charging support.

Game-Changing Design: GM 26 Pro 5G and Rear Display Technology

The other member of the series, the GM 26 Pro 5G, comes with a feature rarely seen in the smartphone world: a Rear Display. The 1.6-inch AMOLED screen, positioned next to the device's rear camera module, allows users to take high-quality selfies using the rear camera. Presented with the slogan "Time to change your perspective," this feature can also be personalised with functions like notification previews and clock display.

Performance and Display

The GM 26 Pro 5G draws its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor built on a 6nm architecture. Its 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display meets segment standards with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits maximum brightness.

Camera and Hardware

On the main camera front, a 50MP Sony sensor is again preferred. This model features EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation) instead of OIS and can record 2K 30 FPS video. There is an 8MP selfie camera on the front, but the rear display allows users to use the main camera for selfies. A 5000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging support meet the device's power needs.

Intelligence That Understands You: GM AI

The biggest common feature of both models is GM AI artificial intelligence support. General Mobile states that this AI system, integrated with Android 15, learns user habits and offers a personalised experience in many areas from battery optimisation to camera performance, security to app suggestions. The AI Mode in the camera interface, in particular, helps users achieve professional results in scene detection and image processing.

Prices and Campaigns

General Mobile has launched an ambitious pre-order campaign for the new models. A buy-back value of up to 9,000 TL and an additional 1,000 TL trade-in support are offered for those bringing their old phones.

The official retail prices of the models have been set as follows:

  • GM Fenix II Pro 5G (12GB+12GB RAM / 512GB): 45.999 TL
  • GM 26 Pro 5G (12GB+12GB RAM / 512GB): 27.999 TL
  • GM 26 Pro 5G (8GB+12GB RAM / 256GB): 24.999 TL

The new series is expected to attract significant interest in the Turkish market, especially with its high storage capacities, up-to-date Android version, and 5G technologies. Available in Metallic Grey, Deep Space, and Stardust colour options, the devices are now available for pre-order on General Mobile's website and authorised sales channels.
