IETT has added TEMSA's 100% electric bus, AVENUE ELECTRON, to its tests for purchasing 100 electric buses to be used in Istanbul's public transportation system.
Following recent criticism regarding its tests with foreign brands, İETT (Istanbul Electric Tramway and Bus Company) has begun adding domestic bus brands to the list of brands it tests for electric bus purchases.
According to a statement on IETT's social media accounts, IETT, which plans to add 100 fully electric buses to its fleet in the first phase, has started testing TEMSA's 100% electric bus, the AVENUE ELECTRON. We at yuzde100yerli.com are following this process and hope it will result in the selection of one of our domestic bus brands.
AVENUE ELECTRON
Developed through a partnership between TEMSA and ASELSAN, the 100% electric AVENUE ELECTRON bus has a capacity of 35 seats, 1 wheelchair, and 46 standing passengers, and offers a range of over 400 km.
