According to information shared on the social media account of the Minister of National Defense, Fikri Işık, the test firings of the long-range BORA missile in Sinop were successfully completed.
Developed by Roketsan, the BORA missile has a diameter of 610 mm and a range of 280 km. Thanks to its high-tech navigation and automatic targeting systems, the system operates using a "fire and forget" tactic. The system can be designed in different versions according to the user's logistical infrastructure and needs, incorporating subsystems such as vehicles, radios, power systems, and navigation systems from various makes and models.
