Pardus version 21.0, which is being continuously developed by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, has been released. Pardus 21.0 is the first release in the Pardus 21 Dolunay family.

It has been stated that the "full moon" theme, representing rebirth in our culture, was used in the design of Pardus 21. The applications were written with the needs of organizations in mind, while prioritizing user experience.

Pardus 21 Full Moon release uses XFCE 4.16 as the default desktop environment. XFCE is a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX-like operating systems. It aims to be visually appealing and user-friendly while keeping system resources low and the system fast.
