Roketsan successfully conducted the second test launch of its TAYFUN ballistic missile, which has a range of over 500 km.
The images, along with a video of the test, have garnered widespread attention in our region after being shared on social media. The TAYFUN missile is being developed by Roketsan, and its exact range has not yet been announced. However, it is stated that all critical components of the missile are 100% domestically produced, and that it is therefore exempt from the restrictions of the Missile Technology Control Regime.
The TAYFUN missile, once added to the inventory, will become a significant deterrent, strengthening Türkiye's hand in striking strategic facilities and targets. With an estimated range of over 500 km, this missile also stands out with its high payload capacity.
