TEMSA continues to strengthen its position in the European market with new tenders it has won. The company, which offers modern solutions to cities, recently won an electric bus tender in Druskininkai, Lithuania, beating its global competitors. Having secured a verbal agreement with the Druskininkai Municipality for 9 x 9-meter MD9 electriCity vehicles, developed by TEMSA engineers and manufactured at the company's facilities in Adana, Turkey, the company will deliver the vehicles to the city in the coming days for use in public transportation.

A PROJECT FOR 25 ELECTRIC VEHICLES IS ON THE AGENDA.

Commenting on the matter, TEMSA Sales and Marketing Deputy General Manager Hakan Koralp noted that TEMSA is becoming a more prominent player in the European market for electric vehicles, stating, “Lithuania is one of the important countries for us in this regard. We have delivered over 165 vehicles to date. We are now very happy to be setting an example for the 'smart cities' vision with our electric vehicles. Druskininkai is one of the exemplary cities with its openness to innovation and environmentally friendly activities. We are continuing negotiations for a project of 25 more electric vehicles for the upcoming period. We are strengthening our position in the region by increasing our vehicle fleet with our new agreements.’.
