The 4th ANKA drone, with an increased range and equipped for the first time with an Automatic Identification System, has been delivered to the Naval Forces Command.

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) continues its UAV deliveries without slowing down. Currently, another delivery of the ANKA UAV, which enhances the Turkish Naval Forces Command's capabilities for real-time target detection, identification, tracking, and destruction at sea, has been completed.

The new ANKA has advanced capabilities.

Within the scope of the Operative UAV Procurement Project, the 4th Anka Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, which successfully passed acceptance tests, was delivered with new capabilities. The SARPER+ SAR/ISAR/Sea Search Radar (Synthetic Aperture Radar), with its increased range and ability to detect and track moving targets from a distance on land and sea, has been provided to the Turkish Naval Forces Command for the first time on an ANKA unmanned aerial vehicle.

Additionally, thanks to the Automatic Identification System (AIS) capability integrated into the UAV for the first time, the ANKA UAVs have gained the ability to identify the identity information of all maritime elements hundreds of miles away, and can instantly transmit all radar, imagery, and automatic identification system intelligence information to the Command Centers. The modifications to the three previously delivered ANKA aircraft with the Automatic Identification System were also completed by TUSAŞ with this delivery.

Thus, a total of 4 ANKA drones, 2 of which are equipped with SAR and EO/IR cameras, delivered to the Naval Forces, are being used for 24/7 reconnaissance and surveillance missions throughout our maritime borders, from the Eastern Mediterranean to the Northern Aegean.
