Stealth Drone ANKA III Fires First In-fuselage Ammunition

ANKA III successfully fired TOLUN ammunition from inside its fuselage for the first time.

ANKA III, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), marked a new milestone in our defense industry. On January 13, 2025, at 07:30 Turkish time, TUSAŞ announced on its official X account that ANKA III had successfully fired ammunition from inside its fuselage. This achievement once again demonstrated ANKA III's operational capabilities.

ANKA III demonstrated Türkiye's latest advancements in unmanned aerial vehicle technology by firing Aselsan's domestically produced TOLUN ammunition at an altitude of 20,000 feet and a speed of 180 knots. This firing not only showcased ANKA III's operational capabilities but also highlighted Türkiye's technological advancements in the defense industry.

TUSAS_TR's post on X stated: "A first for ANKA III! ANKA III successfully fired ammunition from inside its fuselage. The domestically produced TOLUN ammunition from @aselsan was fired at an altitude of 20,000 feet and a speed of 180 knots. With this internal fuselage firing, ANKA III has once again proven its operational capability and engineering skill. We continue to work day and night for our country.".

This development enhances the global competitiveness of the Turkish defense industry, while also demonstrating that Türkiye has elevated the operational capabilities of its fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles to a higher level using technologies developed with its own resources.

Such achievements by domestic companies like TUSAS and Aselsan strengthen Türkiye's independence in the defense sector and enhance its international prestige. This first internal ammunition firing of the ANKA III has once again proven the advanced level reached by Turkish engineering and the defense industry.
