Tümosan Motor ve Traktör Sanayi A.Ş. (TÜMOSAN), Türkiye's leading tractor and diesel engine manufacturer, has signed a contract with the Defense Industry Executive Committee for the Power Group Development Tender.
Under the contract, TÜMOSAN is committed to completing the Altay Tank Power Group project with a budget of 190 million Euros within 54 months and with maximum domestic content. Work on the Power Group project had been ongoing since July 2012.
TÜMOSAN aims to develop and produce the National Power Group with a high level of domestic content. The knowledge gained from the Altay Tank project and the platform created through its design will be used to develop and produce Power Groups for other military land and sea vehicles.
