Roketsan will soon begin space trials with its domestically developed liquid-fueled rocket engine technology.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Roketsan Satellite Launch, Space Systems and Advanced Technologies Research Center and Explosive Raw Material Production Facility, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared the information that Türkiye had seen space for the first time in 2018 with a domestically produced rocket engine incorporating solid fuel technology.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, sharing the information that a probe was successfully launched into space in a test conducted in 2018, also announced that Roketsa will soon conduct space launch tests with its domestically produced liquid-fueled rocket engine. Following these tests, the goal is to place domestically produced micro-satellites weighing up to 100 kg into low Earth orbit at an altitude of 400 km by 2025 using national resources.
