Türkiye's first unmanned combat aircraft, Bayraktar Kızılelma, successfully completed its 9th and 10th flight tests today.
During these tests, Kızılelma performed close formation flight with Türkiye's domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicle, Bayraktar Akıncı. This flight went down in history as the first time in the world that an attack UAV and an unmanned combat aircraft autonomously performed close formation flight. Furthermore, another first occurred during this flight: Kızılelma was recorded by Akıncı during a flight test.
Baykar Technology Leader Selçuk Bayraktar shared a video about this historic flight. The video attracted great attention on social media.
