ASELSAN and SEFİNE Shipyard, two of Türkiye's leading defense industry companies, have signed a project that will strengthen our power at sea. The unmanned marine vehicle, named MARLİN İDA, stands out with its high technology and superior capabilities.
MARLIN IDA is an unmanned underwater vehicle capable of reaching speeds of 36 knots, performing autonomous navigation and missions, possessing high maneuverability, and equipped with active stabilization and dynamic positioning systems. Capable of surface and electronic warfare, MARLIN IDA can also be remotely controlled via satellite and RF communication infrastructure. Furthermore, it can monitor its surroundings using an EO/IR imaging system.
MARLIN SIDA successfully launched KUZGUN-KY.
The KUZGUN-KY Solid Fuel Cruise Missile, developed by SEFİNE Shipyard and TÜBİTAK SAGE, with support from SEFİNE Shipyard's own resources, was successfully tested with a ballistic launch from MARLİN on March 6, 2023.

ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol announced on his social media account that the Marlin IDA, which will revolutionize naval warfare, will soon be delivered to and put into use by our navy.
MARLIN IDA will be delivered to our navy in the near future and will be used in maritime missions. Developed in cooperation with ASELSAN and SEFINE Shipyard, this project will enhance Türkiye's independence and security at sea.
