Türkiye's domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), Bayraktar TB3, successfully completed its 8th flight test.
Selçuk Bayraktar, the Chief Technology Officer of Baykar Technology, announced on his social media account that the Bayraktar TB3 successfully completed its 8th flight test. Bayraktar used the phrase "Medium Altitude Test-2" in his post.

The Bayraktar TB3, powered by the TEI-PD170 engine – Türkiye's first aviation engine developed by TEI – completed a medium-altitude test, reaching an altitude of 18,000 feet. Additionally, the Bayraktar TB3 demonstrated its carrier-based take-off and landing capability by performing 10 touch-and-go tests.
The Bayraktar TB3 is a UAV specifically designed for the TCG Anadolu, Türkiye's first aircraft carrier, which is planned to enter the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces. The Bayraktar TB3 will be capable of performing intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and attack missions. It will also be able to launch attacks and hit targets using smart munitions mounted under its wings.
