BMC CEO Mehmet Demirpençe stated that they are not open to offers such as partnerships or share sales, and that Çukurova Holding is determined to remain independent.
Responding to questions from an AA correspondent, Demirpençe provided information about the production and markets of trucks, buses, and defense sector vehicles. He stated that the stagnation in the market during the 18-month period after mid-2008 directly affected truck demand, but that a better period began in 2010, with an increase in demand. However, he added that they found it difficult to make predictions for the future. "There's a sign that the markets are starting to move, which is a good indicator. Hopefully, no political or economic obstacles will stand in the way. We live in a region of the world where if a problem arises in our neighbor's country, it can affect us too. We live in a dangerous area. Therefore, we have to speak cautiously and start each sentence with 'God willing'," Demirpençe said, adding that they were experiencing a better period in the bus sector compared to trucks.

Oh my god, friends, don't get yourselves into trouble. In 2009, I bought a 2007 model 360 PC. I only used it for 3 months without any problems. After that, the car was a mess. It had two turbo failures, two engine failures, and constant stalling for no apparent reason. I don't even know where to begin. I bought it for 14,750 TL, spent 15,000 TL on repairs, and sold it for 7,000 TL a year later. Absolutely do not go near one. The friend who said the 4th injector can't be removed was right, it can't be removed.
BMC was initially established in Turkey as a company with foreign partners. Over time, the company has undergone several changes in its ownership structure and was most recently acquired by Çukurova Holding. For a considerable period, it has been a preferred Turkish brand both in Turkey and abroad. Therefore, comments made without sufficient knowledge about the company lead to misinformation among those who are uninformed about the subject.
In short, BMC is a TURKISH BRAND. I hope it continues to be so.
If the factory is in Turkey and the brand belongs to Turkey, why isn't it domestically produced?
BMC stands for British Motor Corporation, meaning British (England) Motor Company. The fact that BMC is manufactured in Türkiye does not mean it is a Turkish product!
BMC's domestically produced vehicle is very nice.
I'm proud, but there are many shortcomings in the body and accessories. If the body is modified, I believe sales will increase by 100%. Long live domestic capital! Strong Turkey! It's time for car buyers to switch to domestic vehicles and keep capital in Turkey. Let's come to our senses!
