With the new software developed by TUSAŞ engineers, it is now possible to create the visual and logical designs of aircraft cockpit systems using domestic and national source codes.
Thanks to the software called IMODE, it will be possible to create graphical and logical models of cockpit display systems and algorithms under one roof through visual elements, to perform simulations of these models, and to produce their code. TUSAŞ, which has undertaken numerous projects in the aviation field to reduce dependence on foreign sources in the defense industry, aims to develop the software design and development tools currently used on imports using its own resources, enabling the addition of project-specific requirements and reducing costs.
The software, which was conceptually used in the screens during the design phase of HÜRJET, Türkiye's jet training and light attack aircraft, is also targeted to be used in TUSAŞ's National Combat Aircraft project, as well as helicopter and other aircraft projects in the near future.
