The delivery of three new generation Fırtına howitzers, manufactured by BMC, to the Turkish Armed Forces was carried out with the participation of Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and his accompanying delegation.
Minister Akar emphasized that, in addition to personnel, maneuverability and firepower are also important elements for armies, and stated the following:
“The Storms are proven weapons in this regard. We have used them in our operations to date. We are extremely pleased. You can be sure that with this second, improved version, our soldiers will accomplish even more significant feats. This is a source of great pride for both us and you. I congratulate everyone. We will continue to protect our sovereignty, independence, rights, interests, and benefits on land, sea, and air with the understanding of 'if I die, I will be a martyr; if I live, I will be a veteran.' You will continue to produce weapons, vehicles, equipment, ammunition, and supplies to facilitate these efforts. Therefore, we will all experience the happiness and privilege of being a nation together.‘.
Following the signing ceremony for the three new generation Fırtına howitzers, Minister Akar and the commanders watched a demonstration showcasing the driving and capabilities of armored vehicles produced by BMC.
