Otokar, Türkiye's leading land systems manufacturer, has received an order worth 28.9 million USD for tactical wheeled armored vehicles from an Asian country. Deliveries are planned to be completed by the first quarter of 2019.
Serdar Görgüç, General Manager of Otokar, Türkiye's only national land systems manufacturer, said the following regarding the order: “We are proud that our armored vehicles, whose intellectual property rights belong entirely to Otokar and which are designed and manufactured by Turkish engineers, are preferred abroad. This new order was received from an Asian country to which we have previously exported. Our vehicles, which our customer experienced and was satisfied with using in United Nations missions, served as a reference for their new purchases. They chose Otokar to meet their needs for different types of tactical wheeled armored vehicles.”
