The Turkish defence industry continues to attract worldwide attention with state-of-the-art unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and smart ammunition. Bayraktar TB2 integrated with ASELSAN ASELFLIR 500 destroyed fixed and moving targets with high precision.
The ASELSFLIR-500 electro-optical reconnaissance and surveillance system integrated on the Bayraktar TB2 UAV platform detects targets remotely and enables them to be hit with smart munitions such as MAM-L and CİRİT. The integration of these systems increases operational flexibility and strike capability, enabling the Turkish Armed Forces to establish superiority on the modern battlefield.
After the moving unmanned targets were marked with ASELSFLIR-500 on Bayraktar TB2, they were successfully hit with MAM-L ammunition. Fixed targets were also marked from the air with ASELSFLIR-500 and destroyed from the ground with KMC and CİRİT munitions. These advanced capabilities significantly strengthen Turkey's defence capability to destroy targets with pinpoint fire.
