While domestic hybrid car development efforts continue rapidly, TÜBİTAK MAM is providing scientific contributions as a partner in the development of the "Rinspeed OASIS" electric concept car, which will be introduced at CES 2017 and is called the car of the future.
The ’Oasis,“ to be announced at CES 2017 by Rinspeed, the Swiss automotive design firm known for its interesting designs, seems set to attract consumer attention with its 100% electric motor, replaceable batteries, 5K multimedia screen, and autonomous driving features. TÜBİTAK, which conducts research on driverless (autonomous) driving, battery cells, battery modules and packs, electric motors, central control units, battery management systems, range extenders, active driving, and driving assistance systems, participated in the development stages of the vehicle that will be introduced as the car of the future at CES 2017.
