İsmail Demir, President of the Presidency of Defence Industries, announced via a post on his social media account that new deliveries of the TEBER 82 Guidance Kits, developed by Roketsan, have been carried out.
The TEBER Laser Guidance Kit is a laser guidance kit integrated to enhance the strike capability of MK-81 and MK-82 General Purpose Bombs.
TEBER transforms General Purpose Bombs into a smart weapon system by using an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Global Positioning System (GPS), and a semi-active Laser Seeker Head (LAB).
TEBER, which provides the weapon system with precision strike capability against moving targets thanks to the semi-active LAB that can be attached to the nose section as required, also has the option of adding a proximity sensor to the LAB section.
The tail section of TEBER consists of the IMU and GPS that provide precise guidance and can be integrated onto the bomb by the user in the field. Furthermore, the tail section provides logistical convenience to the user with its ability to recognise the bombs to which it is integrated.
