"HGK-84" achieved outstanding success in test firings conducted with precision guidance kits produced using domestic and national resources.
The official Twitter account of the Turkish Ministry of National Defence stated, "Test firings of the HGK-84 LAB (Precision Guidance Kit-84 Laser Seeker Head), produced with domestic and national capabilities, were successfully carried out by our Air Force.".
HGK-84 is a guidance kit that transforms existing unguided 2000 lb Mk-84 general purpose bombs and penetrating bombs into smart, precision-strike air-to-ground munitions equipped with the ANS/KKS guidance system.
