HÜRKUŞ, designed by Turkish engineers and manufactured at TAI facilities, has successfully passed another test.
The HÜRKUŞ Next Generation Basic Training Aircraft, designed and manufactured by Turkish engineers at TUSAŞ – Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc., successfully completed the Maximum Load Application Step, the final stage of its structural tests. The test, in which the loads to be placed on the aircraft during the certification process were applied using a specially designed test rig, was conducted at TUSAŞ facilities on January 13, 2015.
During tests conducted under the supervision of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, the maximum load required for certification was successfully applied to the static test aircraft.
