Baykar Technology shared the information that the AKINCI UAV, which has the most advanced technology in its class in the world, will be exported, with its followers on its social media account.
Baykar Technology CEO Haluk Bayraktar, in his assessment of the sector in 2021 to AA, stated that they have signed an export agreement with an unnamed country for the AKINCI UAV system. Noting the significant success achieved by exporting the Bayraktar TB2, which has completed 420,000 flight hours, to 16 countries, Haluk Bayraktar also announced the signing of the first export contract for the AKINCI TİHA.

Longer and wider than the Bayraktar TB2, the Akıncı UAV boasts a 20-meter wingspan thanks to its unique twisted wing structure. Capable of carrying numerous domestically produced smart munitions, the AKINCI, thanks to its unique artificial intelligence system, offers its users advanced flight and diagnostic functions by being smarter and more aware of environmental conditions. Equipped with dual-redundant SATCOM, the AKINCI TİHA can operate for 24 hours at an altitude of 40,000 feet.
The Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA System, which is being developed to become the world's most technologically advanced system in its class, can be equipped with domestically produced munitions, missiles, and bombs such as MAM-L, MAM-C, MAM-T, Cirit, L-UMTAS, Bozok, MK-81, MK-82, MK-83, Winged Guidance Kit (KGK)-MK-82, Gökdoğan, Bozdoğan, and SOM-A.
The AKINCI, which will reduce the burden on fighter jets, can also carry out aerial bombardment. Equipped with domestically developed air-to-air missiles, the Akıncı UAV can also be used in air-to-air missions.
