TOGG (Türkiye's Automobile Initiative Group) unveiled its domestically produced car, the Turkish automobile, at its 'Journey to Innovation' event held in the Informatics Valley.
TOGG, established through the synergy of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Anadolu Group, BMC, Kök Group, Turkcell, and Zorlu Group – all with experience in diverse fields such as retail, automotive, telecommunications, and consumer electronics – and with a collaboration model unprecedented in Türkiye, has unveiled its first prototype vehicles, heralding the transformation of the automotive industry into a mobility ecosystem, to both Turkey and the world stage.
In addition to the rear-wheel drive (RWD) system that will be included in the car's standard configuration, a second electric motor on the front axle will provide all-wheel drive (AWD) for those traveling in challenging weather and road conditions.
Rear-wheel drive (RWD) versions offer 200 horsepower, while all-wheel drive (AWD) versions deliver 400 horsepower, allowing you to confidently tackle any road.
With the AWD drive system, you'll experience the performance you've always dreamed of, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. Cars with the RWD drive system, on the other hand, will reach 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds, offering performance beyond your expectations.
With its high crash resistance, active and passive safety features, and advanced driver assistance systems, it will meet the Euro NCAP 5-star safety standards for 2022.
