KAAN, the National Combat Aircraft, one of the most important steps in Türkiye's aviation and defense industry, conducted its second test flight this morning.
KAAN, which successfully completed its first flight on February 21st, took off from the runway at 08:46 this morning, remained airborne for 14 minutes, and achieved another significant milestone by reaching an altitude of 10,000 feet (approximately 3 kilometers).
According to a statement by the Presidency of Defence Industries, KAAN reached a speed of 230 knots (approximately 426 km/h) during this flight. This successful flight demonstrates the advanced level of the KAAN Project, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) and becoming one of the symbols of Türkiye's national technology initiative.
