Songar, Türkiye's first national armed drone system developed by Asisguard, has completed its acceptance tests and entered the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces.
The Songar armed drone system, equipped with advanced features, will undertake critical tasks in operations to be carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces and security forces. Capable of operating as a single or multiple drone system, Songar is equipped with an automatic machine gun and can operate within a 3 km radius. The system, which can also transmit real-time images, can carry 200 rounds of 5.56 caliber 45 mm NATO-grade ammunition.
