Türkiye's First Tail-less Unmanned Combat Aircraft, Anka III, Took to the Skies.

Anka 3, Türkiye's first tailless unmanned combat aircraft, successfully completed its maiden flight.

Anka III, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) and Türkiye's first tailless unmanned combat aircraft, successfully completed its maiden flight today.

Anka III, which completed its first flight, will make a very strong contribution to our country's defense with its advanced technologies, design, and features.

Anka III is the third member of TUSAŞ's family of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Thanks to its jet engine, Anka III is a faster, tailless unmanned combat aircraft with a higher payload capacity, making it less visible on radar. As a new generation platform, Anka III will be able to perform many tasks including reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence gathering, attack, air search, electronic warfare, and communications relay. Anka III has a flight endurance of 10 hours, an altitude of 40,000 feet, a maximum takeoff weight of 6.5 tons, and a payload capacity of 1200 kg. Anka III is planned to be operational in 2024.
