Turkey has taken another significant step in its aviation and defense industry. The domestically produced turbofan engine, TF6000, was successfully started for the first time. This event once again proves Türkiye's ability to produce its own aircraft engines.
Developed at TEI by Turkish engineers, the engine aims to offer high performance and reliability. Planned for use in military and civilian aircraft, the TF6000 will enhance our national defense capabilities. The TF6000 will be used in projects such as KIZILELMA and ANKA-3. This step holds a significant place within Türkiye's National Technology Initiative.
