Turkish engineers have developed a highly mobile, state-of-the-art vehicle that provides security forces with complete protection against landmines.
FNSS Project Sales Manager Ceyhun Süer told an AA reporter that the company has developed new generation wheeled armored vehicles with high mobility, protection and load-carrying potential, and that they have named them "Pars".
Süer stated that many countries have tested the Pars armored combat vehicles under their own conditions, and recalled that they recently signed an agreement to produce and deliver 257 “Pars 8×8” armored combat vehicles to Malaysia. Emphasizing that the Pars armored vehicles were designed entirely by Turkish engineers, Süer said, “Pars is a Turkish brand. Our vehicles are an original Turkish product. We offer these vehicles for use by the Turkish Armed Forces and other friendly and allied countries.”.
