Given the expectation that the use of unmanned and autonomous vehicles will expand significantly in the near future, the Undersecretariat of Defence Industries (SSM) is organizing the "ROBOİK" Unmanned and Autonomous Land Vehicles Design Competition.
The competition will be held in two categories: 3D Model Design and Freehand Drawing. The designer who wins first place in the 3D category will receive a cash prize of 100,000 TL, while the designer selected as the winner in the freehand drawing category will receive 30,000 TL. The deadline for participation is November 15, 2017, and the results will be announced at a ceremony on December 12, 2017.
‘The 'ROBOİK' Unmanned and Autonomous Ground Vehicles Design Competition aims to design unmanned systems that will enhance operational capabilities in both internal security and military fields, reduce error rates, and prevent or minimize potential personnel casualties by utilizing advanced technologies.
