“The "Istanbul Tram" project aims to produce a modern, reliable, and next-generation light rail system vehicle for Istanbul that meets European standards. Production of the first phase, consisting of 18 vehicles, is nearing completion.
The Istanbul Tram, which can be used as both a light metro and a tram, was designed to suit Istanbul's conditions. Manufactured entirely in Istanbul according to international standards, this tram has passed all necessary safety tests, including functional tests, static and dynamic tests, travel safety tests, performance and braking tests, under the supervision of accredited organizations, and has received all conformity certificates.
