SAGUAR will represent Türkiye at the World Solar Challenge, the world's most prestigious solar-powered vehicle race, held biennially in Australia in October 2009.
SAGUAR will represent Turkey in the World Solar Challenge, an event in which no team from Türkiye has ever participated before, alongside some of the world's most renowned universities such as MIT and Stanford. The World Solar Challenge, a race covering approximately 3000 km from one end of the Australian continent to the other, will start from Darwin on October 25, 2009. Sakarya University is producing the SAGUAR NL1 vehicle for the race, which will last approximately four full days.
