In a study conducted by the German automotive industry specialist magazine Autobild (February 3, 2006, issue 5) on the durability of wheels sold in Germany, CMS was the only Turkish-branded aluminum wheel among 8 other wheels that successfully completed all test phases.
Authorities subjected eight commercially available ABE-certified and approved rims to short-term fatigue and impact tests at TUV Süd. The impact test simulated very hard impacts and collisions with a curb, while the fatigue test assessed the rim's structural integrity. German authorities emphasized that choosing cheaper rims carries various risks, which could lead to very serious life-threatening dangers.
