ECA won an award at the M Technology Award 2009, an international design competition organized by IF Design in Verona, Italy, with its Primemix faucet. The ECA Primemix faucet was deemed worthy of the award in the "Elements and Systems" category. Manufactured at the Valfsel Faucet factory of the Elginkan Group in Manisa, the innovative ECA Primemix product received the award for its comfort to the user, as well as its water and energy-saving technology.

The engineering work for the product, which uses a special DURO cartridge developed by ECA-VDT (Valfsel Design Team), was carried out by Hakan Cevat Tuncay, while the visual design was done by industrial product designer Müge Göken. ECA Primemix eliminates one of the most common problems encountered when using hot water in bathrooms and kitchens: the need to readjust the water temperature in the faucet after each opening and closing. Thanks to its special mechanism (cartridge) which has been patented worldwide, ECA Primemix separates the water quantity and water temperature settings.
