The first software package of the Coastal Surveillance Radar System “SGRS” Project, developed by Havelsan and consisting of stations equipped with radar, electro-optical and other sensors, has been delivered to the Coast Guard Command.
The system, whose software components will be developed by Havelsan and whose radar/electro-optical systems will be developed by Aselsan, will essentially have the following features.
- 24/7 uninterrupted surveillance
- Accident response, smuggling, combating irregular migration, territorial waters violations, effective and rapid search and rescue
- Fully integrated with public institutions.
