PANDA Ice Cream, which entered the ice cream sector in 1984, has achieved many firsts since its establishment. Believing in the potential of the ice cream sector in Türkiye, PANDA Ice Cream started with a production capacity of 1 ton per hour in its very first year of production, a feat that was almost unbelievable at the time.
PANDA, named after one of the most endearing animals in nature, chose this name primarily because the word is two syllables long, easy to remember, appealing, and pronounced the same way in many languages. PANDA demonstrated this broad vision with its export initiatives shortly after its establishment. Starting with the Turkic Republics in the late 1980s, PANDA now exports to Balkan countries such as Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia, and Macedonia, continuing its success in these markets as well.
