Baykar Technology, was founded in 1986 and has been in operation since the 2000s. unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UCAV) is a globally recognised Turkish defence industry giant. Developed entirely with domestic engineering power Bayraktar TB2, TB3, Akıncı, Kızılelma such platforms strengthen the defence capabilities of both Turkey and friendly and allied countries.

Recent Developments and Achievements

• Piaggio Aerospace Acquisition - With the acquisition of 140-year-old Italian aerospace company Piaggio Aerospace, Baykar took the Turkish aerospace industry to Europe.
• UAV Cooperation with Leonardo - A high technology UAV development and production agreement was signed with Italian Leonardo.
• National Engine TM100 - Bayraktar TB2 now flies with the completely domestic TM100 engine.
• MURAD AESA Radar - Bayraktar Akıncı successfully completed its first test flight with the MURAD AESA radar produced by ASELSAN.
• Bayraktar TB3 - TCG Anadolu realised its first landing and take-off from TCG Anadolu, marking a first in the world.
