The hydrogen-based fuel cells and energy systems developed by Vestel's R&D team in alternative energies, which are expected to be available for consumption in approximately one year, were introduced.
Speaking at a press conference held at Zorlu Plaza in Avcılar, Cengiz Ultav, Vestel's Executive Board Member responsible for Business Development and Strategic Planning, stated that the laboratory studies conducted in the field of hydrogen energy have been completed and that the certification process for these products and technologies will begin soon.
Ultav explained that fossil fuels, widely used in the world, are now nearing depletion, and that the fact that giant energy companies are no longer investing in these fuels is an indication of this. He also stated that the Zorlu Group has spent approximately 20 million dollars on R&D studies in alternative energies.
