Turkcell will integrate devices produced through the 'Domestic Radio Link Project' into 150 networks across 51 provinces to ensure uninterrupted communication. Turkcell, which has supported the project from the beginning, will provide support with an investment of 2.1 million Turkish Lira.
Turkcell will be the first operator to use domestically produced radiolinks in its network. The implementation phase is beginning for the "Domestic Radiolink Project," launched with the support of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) to produce and design radiolink devices in Türkiye that connect communication units to central offices. Turkcell, which has embraced the project from the outset, is supporting domestic production with an investment of 2.1 million TL. The domestically produced radiolink devices, designed and developed over two years by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey - Information and Information Security Advanced Technologies Research Center (TÜBİTAK-BİLGEM), are manufactured by Simpro company in Kartal, Istanbul.
