In the Domestic and National 5G Communication Network Project, led by HAVELSAN, a TR713-7GHz radio link demo was conducted.
During a demonstration given to the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mustafa Varank, four 4K videos were successfully transmitted simultaneously over a 7GHz radio link spanning 12 km. Minister Varank also conducted a video conference call via HAVELSAN Diyalog using the 7GHz radio link. The system was designed to be compatible with the existing radio link infrastructure of mobile operators in our country, which largely consists of foreign products.
With a localization rate of over 60%, the project, which is being developed, is expected to eliminate the use of foreign products with the use of domestically produced radiolinks. Considered the vascular system of the mobile network, the radiolink can be used successfully even in the most difficult terrain conditions thanks to its powerful data transmission.
The goal is to begin field testing with mobile operators at the beginning of 2021, and to move into production after system verification.
