The Active/Passive Convoy Protection Systems (MILKAR-5A5) produced by ASELSAN have been integrated into the Kirpi Mine-Resistant Partially Protected Armored Vehicles.
According to the news in the December issue of ASELSAN Magazine, the system, which can detect threat signals with its receiver unit thanks to its active jamming capability as well as its reactive jamming algorithm, and direct a large part of the system's output power directly to these frequency(s), thus achieving much higher effective ranges, has superior features compared to all other jamming systems in the Turkish Armed Forces inventory.
The MILKAR-5A5 Active/Passive Convoy Protection System is the first and only Reactive Jamming/Blinding System in the Turkish Armed Forces inventory, and also one of only a few such systems worldwide.
