The Friend or Foe Identification and Recognition (IFF) System, a critical need of the Turkish Armed Forces, has been produced domestically by ASELSAN.

Thanks to this project, all friend-or-foe (IFF) recognition systems used by the Turkish Armed Forces will consist of devices designed with national capabilities. The contract was signed today at a ceremony. The signatures were affixed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence Industries, Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, and the Chairman and General Manager of ASELSAN, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün.
