Otokar, a Koç Group company that won the Bucharest municipality's tender for 400 buses, has signed the largest single bus export agreement ever secured by a Turkish bus brand.
The signing ceremony for Türkiye's largest single bus export deal took place at Bucharest City Hall, with the participation of Mayor Gabriela Firea and Otokar General Manager Serdar Görgüç.
Otokar, which has won public transportation tenders from many major city municipalities in Türkiye in recent years and whose buses are preferred in European countries such as France, Italy, Spain, and Germany, will deliver the vehicles under the contract signed with Bucharest Municipality in batches during 2018 and 2019. As part of the agreement, Otokar will also provide after-sales services for the vehicles for 8 years.
