The Presidency of Defence Industries announced that the Retinar FAR-AD Drone Detection Radar systems, developed by Meteksan Defence within the scope of the Mini/Micro UAV Detection Radar System Project, have been delivered to our security forces.

Retinar FAR-AD operates in the Ku frequency band with low RF output power. It utilizes a customized pulse-compressed Doppler waveform. Featuring a digital radar architecture, Retinar FAR-AD offers selectable active operating modes with different waveforms and varying angular rotation speeds. With a 40° elevation angle, Retinar FAR-AD provides effective protection against low- and high-altitude Mini/Micro UAVs. Retinar FAR-AD offers the user alarm and friendly zone definition capabilities. With its built-in GPS and magnetic compass, the system displays its position and orientation on a digital map.
