Karsan's autonomous bus, the Atak Electric Autonomous Bus, will be used at Istanbul Technical University (ITU).

Karsan, in collaboration with Istanbul Technical University (ITU), has agreed to use its Autonomous Atak Electric in the university's R&D activities.

Having received its first order from Romania last year while still under development, the Autonomous Atak Electric received its first request in Türkiye from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) immediately after production began. Developed through collaborative work between Karsan's R&D team and ADASTEC using the flowride.ai software, the Autonomous Atak Electric, a 100% electric model in the 8-meter class, will be used in the university's R&D project development activities. This will provide a platform for industry and technology companies, as well as academia, to develop technologically advanced products and services with high scientific depth and commercial potential.
