Developed through a collaboration between TEMSA and ASELSAN, the 100% domestically produced electric vehicle, Avenue EV, is ready for mass production. As part of an agreement signed in previous years, the Avenue EV, the first domestically produced electric bus of the Turkish automotive industry, equipped with ASELSAN's electric traction systems, has completed all processes and rolled off the production line.
The first deliveries of these vehicles, seen as an important step towards the widespread use of domestic technology in electrification and reducing Türkiye's energy dependence, will take place in the coming days to public institutions.
IT CAN TRAVEL 80 KM ON A 15-MINUTE CHARGE.
Designed domestically by ASELSAN and developed with an environmentally conscious approach, considering global needs, the Avenue EV runs on electricity, a sustainable energy source, instead of fossil fuels. Thanks to its fast charging capability, the vehicle can reach a full charge in 15 minutes, allowing it to travel 80 kilometers; with short charging stops, it can provide uninterrupted service for 24 hours. This eco-friendly bus, with its electric traction system and zero carbon emissions, is also quiet, comfortable, high-performance, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Components such as the electric motor, traction inverter, main computer, and instrument panel, which are normally imported, were designed and manufactured domestically by ASELSAN. In this respect, the Avenue EV stands out as the vehicle with the highest localization rate in the automotive sector in Türkiye.
